Anthony High School Memorial
With the closing of Anthony High School the list of graduates stopped, which makes us a unique group. As the years roll along, the list of living graduates continues to get smaller. The Alumni Committee feels this unique group should be remembered forever, so Memorial Plaques for each class and the names of those in that class were mounted on the east and west walls of the Municipal Hall by the Reunion Committee in 2011.
Because the Municipal Hall was a center of activity for so many years, the Alumni Committee of 2016 decided to continue with the idea of making the Hall a place to display our memories. The front lobby has been turned into a "Hall of Memories" with cabinet displays, shadow boxes, films and many pictures.
Since the Anthony High School building was demolished in 2017, it is even more important that our memories are preserved for the future. If you have memorabilia to donate, contact the curator listed.
